e-Comics - Fascinating lunchtime reading for all. To be honest I try to read them throughout most of the day.

I decided to try and collect some of my favourites (mainly so I don't have to go to a load of other sites to find them).

Beaver and Steve. I like it because it's named after me. Not beaver... Steve. Not really, but I like to think so. Intellectual discussion on time travel between a beaver and a green thing. Still fills the lunch hour doesn't it.

If you're a fan of Battlestar or Firefly, then you will definitely love this. The partially CG artwork is really professionally done and a great deal of thought has gone into the set out of the pages (you know how some online comics look like they were done rather too quickly). I'm especially impressed by the fact that David is continually improving the art as the comic strip unfolds. It really does get better with each page.

Humour in the midst of war. "Gone with the Blastwave" follows the exploits of two soldiers in post apocolypse war zone. Having fun with weapons. Beautifully illustrated, politically incorrect and wickidly funny. Genius, absolute Genius..

The alien and the Predator move into a flat in the big city. Just like sex in the city only with Acid Blood and cloaking devices. Bizarre, yet odly funny..

A truly excellent place to start. A story of a boy, his school and a large blue thing, I like comics that aren't too full of themselves. A little bit of profanity and the occasional punching of fat kids, so if you're sensibilities are easily offended then don't link.

Only complaint - not enough of it yet.

This one you really have to see. As broadband is now commonplace, we are seeing artists being able to put far better quality comics online. This has to be one of the most professional online comcs I have ever seen and so far the stories not to shaby either. We will see how it unfolds.
